Save a carousel without leaving the post

Share a public Instagram post into igli. The post link opens Convert and the slides start loading. Free for up to 5 slides, with a small watermark.

iPhone Shortcut

From Instagram, tap Share, then this shortcut. It sends the post URL to igli.

  1. Open the Shortcuts app and tap the + button.
  2. Tap the info (i) button, turn on Show in Share Sheet, and set it to receive URLs from Instagram.
  3. Add a URL Encode action. Set the input to Shortcut Input.
  4. Add an Open URL action. Set the URL to the line below, with the Encoded URL variable at the end.

Reels are not supported. Use a carousel or single-image post (instagram.com/p/…).

Bookmarklet

On a computer, drag this link to the bookmarks bar. Open an Instagram post in the browser, then click the bookmark. If you are not on a post, it asks you to paste the link.

Save this carousel as PDF

Clicking it on this page does nothing. Drag it to the bookmarks bar first.

Notion swipe file

A database you can import: name, post URL, creator, topic, why you saved it, and a place for the PDF. igli is the capture step — paste the post, download the PDF, drop it on the row.

Download the CSV
  1. In Notion, choose Import and pick the CSV.
  2. Add a Files & media property named PDF, and attach each igli export there.
  3. Delete the three example rows when your own saves are in.

Chrome and Raycast

A Chrome extension and a Raycast command use the same link. The store listings are not up yet. Until then, use the bookmarklet on a computer and the shortcut on iPhone.
